In addition, a complaint is 'free advice' for us. A complaint lets us take a closer look at our procedures and adjust them for better service. The fastest way to solve your complaint is to talk it over. This way you can discuss the cause of your complaint with the one who is responsible.
When your complaint can’t be resolved with the one responsible, or if you don’t want to discuss your complaint with the one responsible you can send your complaint to the supervisor in writing. The supervisor will discuss the complaint internally and try to resolve the complaint. If needed he will invite you to talk about it at our clinic. Together you can then discuss how the problem can be solved.
According to dutch law (WKZC), each medical institution must have an independent complaints commission. Contour Clinic is affiliated to EMS. A brochure on this subject is available on request.
If you can not solve the complaints with the complaints committee a dispute arises. This can be dealt with by the Disputes Committee Independent Clinics Netherlands. This is an independent commission to rule on disputes between hospitals/clinics and patients/clients. The Disputes Committee Independent Clinics Netherlands shall render a binding opinion.
