Consultation
Prior to the treatment you will have a personal meeting with our female consultant and the plastic surgeon. The physical complaints, surgical possibilities, surgical proceedings and our pre- and post-surgery policy will extensively be talked over with you as our client.
Surgery
You will undergo the operation in a hospital under general anaesthetics. The average duration is one and a half to three hours. In general you will stay in hospital one or two days. During the operation an oval-shaped incision is made just above the pubic area and normally below the bikini line. In some cases an incision is made near the navel to keep it as close to its original position as possible. Next, if necessary, the right and left abdominal muscles will be attached to each other thus tightening the abdomen. In addition, two drains will be inserted into the abdominal wall. These are thin tubes which allow the wound fluids caused by the incision to exit the body. After five to seven days they are removed in our clinic. The sutures are removed in our clinic ten to fourteen days after surgery.
