Protruding ears are a congenital abnormality of the shape of the cartilaginous skeleton of the auricle. The characteristics are big ears which are almost perpendicular to the head. An ear correction is a relatively simple procedure and is done under local anesthesia.
With a relatively simple treatment protruding ears can be corrected and can be done for clients from the age of 4 years. Besides protruding ears the bowl of the ear can be is too large and too deep. These deviations can be corrected through plastic surgery aswell.
