Who is eligible for an eyelid correction?
If you have excess skin of the upper eyelids (the skin often rests on the eyelashes) an upper eyelid correction is the most appropriate treatment. Excess skin of the lower lids can be corrected with lower eyelid correction.
How long does the treatment take?
When treating the upper eyelids approximately 30-40 minutes. Eyelids under take more time, about 1 hour. If both the top and bottom of the eyes, it takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours.
What kind of aneasthesia will be used?
This treatment is performed under local anesthesia. This has the advantage that you can open and colse your eyes can during the treatment for a optimal result.
